The Center houses our Multimedia Arts & Technology program, which includes courses in web-design, Computer Programming, Graphic Arts & Technology, Television Production, Sound Design, and many others. The goal of the Center is to provide students with a rich, hands-on learning experience that focuses on developing the 21st Century Skills necessary to be successful in college and the workplace, including media literacy and effective digital media communication strategies.
Each student has the opportunity to use the Center, either by taking a course in the Multimedia Arts & Technology program, or taking part of cross-curricular experiences developed by classroom teachers that use the resources of the Center. Opened in August 2014, the Gherini Center is fully equipped with the most current and advanced technologies, and a faculty member who is an expert in the field.
