Keeping the Cardinal Fire Burning: Our Annual Cardinal Event

Alumni, parents, and friends gathered for this year’s Cardinal Event, an evening of good food, good wine, and even better company, all in support of our Bishop athletes.

The Cardinal Club went all out. They put in hours of hard work (and more than a little sweat) to prepare a delicious barbecue dinner for the crowd. Paired with a fine selection of wine donated by Fess Parker, it made for a memorable meal, and families lingered enjoying time together in true community.

The heart of the evening came when our athletes and coaches spoke about what Bishop sports have meant to them: the lessons, the friendships, and the confidence they’ve built along the way. Their stories were a powerful reminder of why we do this.

This year’s theme, Keep the Cardinal Fire Burning, reflects the values at the core of Bishop athletics: Spirit, Scholarship, Sportsmanship, and Success that reaches well beyond the athletic field.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, the event raised vital funds to support our Bishop athletes and the programs that shape them. To the Cardinal Club volunteers, our sponsors, and every guest who joined us: thank you. Your support keeps the fire burning.
