Yes. During the day, bathrooms, classrooms and other areas will be cleaned by maintenance staff. Also, passing periods will be extended to accommodate students & teachers cleaning desks; deep cleaning of the school will take place each afternoon; hand washing stations will be added to the quad; and hand sanitizing stations will be added to all learning spaces.
Yes. Locally Grown Kids will continue to operate on campus. We will utilize an app for pre-ordering to reduce contact and expedite service, and maintain a separate, socially-distanced line for cash transactions. Food deliveries from outside vendors will not be allowed.
Yes. All students and staff must have their temperatures taken, and attest that they are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Any individual with a temperature over 100.3 or with symptoms will not be allowed to attend that day and, if on campus, that person must return home or be picked up. That individual will be isolated and monitored until leaving campus. In order to return after illness, a student’s parent/guardian will be required to complete an online form available on the Bishop webpage confirming the student meets health criteria as recommended by the County Health Department.
Yes. Whether a student is staying home because they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, are quarantined, or wish to stay at home due to family health concerns, there will be both live synchronous learning available via Zoom, and recorded classes available for those who cannot participate in real time. Please contact Tim Flanagan if your family wishes to take advantage of remote learning as a long-term solution.
Yes. Families will have access to videos and information via the school website, and the first few days of school will include orienting students to a variety of new procedures and expectations.
Yes. While decisions from CIF regarding seasons of sport are still forthcoming, Campus Ministry, clubs, ASB, etc. will still operate in ways that follow social-distancing guidelines.
