Tell us about your family
I live with my husband of 27 years, Mike, my daughter Emma, my son Joey, two Dachshunds, Sophie and Peanut, and a crazy Cockatiel named Ozzy.
What drew you to Bishop?
Catholic education is very dear to my heart and I truly believe it transforms lives. Bishop's small community was so welcoming! I decided I wanted the job, even though it is 55 miles from home, because I truly believe in our Head of School, Mrs. Regan, and I could not pass up the chance to work with and learn from her!
What book are you reading, or have you currently read and what is it about?
You'll Get Through This by Max Lucado. It is a reminder that tough times in our lives are meant to help us grow and redirect us towards our destiny. Difficult things won't be painless and we have to do our share of the work, but God always weaves the bad for good!
If you could have dinner with anyone past or present, who would it be and why?
My mom - before she developed dementia.
What is your favorite Bible verse or inspirational quote?
James 1:2-4 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, when you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Who has had the biggest impact on you?
My parents who have always given me amazing examples of love and hard work. They taught me that anything worth having is worth doing yourself so that no one can take it away from you.
What advice would you give to a new Bishop student?
Believe in yourself and believe that this is YOUR home! Make your experience what you want it to be and get involved. Every Bishop student is worthy!
