It's family! I believe in Catholic education and ministering with other like-minded individuals to touch the hearts and souls of our young people who are in search of meaning, connectedness, and relationship.What book are you reading, or have you currently read and what is it about?Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson. It's about a lawyer in Alabama who has dedicated his life to fight for justice and equality, defending the most vulnerable in our society: the poor, the wrongly condemned, and women and children who are trapped in the criminal justice system. I am reading this as a follow up to The Sun Does Shine, a story about Antony Ray Hinton who was wrongfully placed on death row for 30 years. Bryan Stevenson was the man who finally helped him win his freedom back. Powerful, moving and inspiring reading.If you could have dinner with anyone past or present, who would it be and why?Jesus!! I would love to just sit and chat with him about EVERYTHING!Where would we find you when you are not at work? Where is your favorite place in the world?You would find me BBQing with my family, holding and playing with my grandson, or on my back deck with a crossword puzzle.What is your favorite Bible verse or inspirational quote?Too many beautiful Bible verses to choose from!! She has inspired me to love life and others more deeply.What advice would you give to a new Bishop student?Embrace every single day and all that it encompasses as a day that is meant to be. God loves you more than you know. He wants to BLESS you always!
