Santa Cruz Island Excursion for Ten
This is a once in a lifetime day-trip! Enjoy a barbeque for ten at the historic Gherini Ranch located at the east end of Santa Cruz Island which is also part of the Channel Islands National Park. You will embark from Ventura harbor at 8 a.m. on the 65 foot Island Packers’ vessel stopping along the way for whale and dolphin sightings. The boat trip takes only 50 minutes. Included is a tour of the historic buildings (including the new island museum) and a guided hike by John Gherini, island historian. Each guest will receive a signed book detailing the history of Santa Cruz Island, written by John. The boat leaves the island at 4 p.m. so there should be time to simply relax at the beach and take in the exquisite beauty of the island.
