Join us for this once in a decade event! As part of an all Cardinal Alumni Weekend, May 24, and 25th, this will be the match to watch. Carp won this in the 80's, Bishop won in the 90's.  “This is the rubber match,  We’re expecting 6,000, and we’ll be splitting the proceeds right down the middle (for the school booster clubs).”, per Peter Georgi, Bishop Alum ’72 and organizer of the last three Alumni matches. Who will be this year’s winner? The game is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th. Kickoff time is 4:00 p.m. at Santa Barbara City College’s LaPlaya Stadium. Tickets can be purchased in advance for ages 5 and over for $8.00 and $10.00 at the gate; $5.00 for students with a valid student ID; no charge for children 5 and under. Following this epic game, a dinner/dance party will be held at the Carriage and Western Art Museum at Pershing Park at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the dinner/dance must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door. Ticket price is $40 per person. You must be 21 or older to attend the dinner / dance. Following this great football re-match (win or lose) and fellowship with our competitors at the dinner/dance, please join us at mass Sunday, May 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Bishop High School. Father Alonso will be celebrating the mass with us followed by a tour of the beautifully remodeled campus. A great barbeque, catered by Ralph Karleskint (Class of ‘65) with Fathers Sal and Alonso attending, will take place on the Doolan Patio (Bishop High campus) with fellow alums beginning at 1:00 p.m. There is no cost for this school sponsored barbecue, however, reservations are required by Friday, May 16th.
