The Office of Advancement has several main functions: to coordinate all fund raising for the school, to support the Alumni Relations program, to facilitate all external communication and to work with external groups who are interested in supporting Bishop Garcia Diego High School.
The Advancement Office coordinates all unrestricted and restricted fund raising programs. The Annual Fund, the yearly unrestricted fund drive, provides vital budget relieving dollars that support the faculty, operations and facilities of BGDHS. The Advancement Office also coordinates our restricted funds; Adopt-A-Student, Endowment and Planned Giving programs. In addition to fund raising campaigns the office also hosts two major fund raising events, the Gala Auction and the Annual Bishop High Golf Tournament.
Communication is a vital component in linking our 7500 alumni as well as our current and past parents, friends and supporters. The Advancement Office manages several external communication vehicles: the Bishop García Diego High School Web Site (www.Bishopdiego.org), Our alumni online e-newsletter the Cardinal Catch-Up, the monthly e-newsletters, and our Annual Report.
