Department Philosophy:
The Department of Mathematics aims to develop the rational and critical thought of our students. Using a balance between the concrete and the abstract, the department strives to represent mathematics as both a real-world tool and theoretical discipline. Students are exposed to both theoretical and applied mathematics within each course and are asked to demonstrate their knowledge in written, oral, and/or project form.
