Bishop Diego High School is a place where traditions have always played a big role on campus. Now, thanks to generous benefactors Rick and Aurora Grimm, a new tradition has begun with the installation of 158 solar modules (SunPower 215-WHT-U) along with 5 SunPower SMA7000 watt inverters, on the roof of the main gym located at the center of the 16 acre campus. The 2010-2011 school year will begin under new, lay leadership with the appointment of Dr. Paul Harrington as the Principal. Previously, Harrington served the school as Vice-Principal and Dean of Studies.
Dr. Joe Reiken was appointed as the Vice-Principal and Dean of Studies in April of 2010 and will lead the curricular program, support the faculty, and oversee the inauguration of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Academy. Read more of this article. |
